Southland batsman Aaron Hart's 175 runs from 200 balls included 15 fours and six sixes in what was a batting masterclass.

Aaron Hart scored an outstanding unbeaten 175 batting for Southland in its southern zone Hawke Cup fixture against South Canterbury in Invercargill.

There have been many special innings at Queens Park over the nearly 130 years cricket has been played there.
