Arts leader points to council project budget removal
“The realistic element of the financial pressure that these councils are under means that some of these projects might be a long time coming."
A Southland arts leader has acknowledged some concerns following the Invercargill City Council’s removal of an arts budget in its proposed long-term plan.
In 2018 the Invercargill City Council included $14 million as part of its 2018-2028 long-term plan to build a new arts and creativity hub in the city.
