A Night Food Market is also being planned for Esk St on Friday September 8.

More unique events are in the pipeline in a quest to drive increased activity to Invercargill’s city centre.

The Invercargill City Council has a targeted rate with the aim to increase the number of people visiting the CBD and support the development of the vibrancy of the City Centre.

The council has contracted Great South to take on these duties and a programme of events has been identified for July through to December.

It will include a public live screening of the FIFA Women’s World Cup final on Sunday, August 20 in Don St.
