Councillors speak with 'no understanding or background'
Rugby Southland officials thought the Invercargill City Council had agreed Rugby Park was the best outdoor stadium option for the next 25 years, they've now been blind-sided by talk it has no future.
Rugby Southland officials have fired back at city councillors who made cutting public comments about rugby saying they spoke with no understanding on certain matters.
It was in response to Mayor Nobby Clark saying Rugby Park has no future. That was before the Invercargill City Council then voted to halt maintenance spending on Rugby Park.
