Former Brumbies halfback Lachlan Albert has made the move to Invercargill to play club rugby and have a crack at the Southland Stags.

A former Australian schoolboys and under-20 halfback has arrived in Invercargill ready to stake his claim for some NPC game time with the Southland Stags later this year.

Lachlan Albert was an Australian Schoolboys representative in 2018 and 2019. He was also selected in the Australian Under-20 squad in 2020 and 2021 but Covid-19 meant he never got a chance to play at that level.
