A great game of rugby often beats a great game of league. But I’m starting to wonder if more people are now leaning toward the NRL in terms of their viewing.

Yes, here we go again, the sometimes pointless and divisive question as to which competition is better, the NRL or Super Rugby.

In recent years the NRL has captured more of my attention than Super Rugby, although I’ve understood why others prefer Super Rugby.

A great game of rugby often beats a great game of league.

I’m starting to wonder though if more people are now leaning toward the NRL, in terms of their viewing, and I’ve identified four reasons why I think that just might be the case.
