Naturally, the Eastern-Northern Barbarians lot were left deflated on Saturday afternoon.

The Gore-based outfit was beaten 37-10 by Pirates-Old Boys in Southland club rugby’s Galbraith Shield final at Rugby Park.

It’ll take a bit, but coach Bretton Taylor knows once the disappointment subsides, they’ll be able to reflect proudly on 2023.
