Rugby Southland officials say they were ‘blindsided’ by the Invercargill City Council last week when it voted to halt maintenance spending on Rugby Park. Mayor Nobby Clark also declared that the venue did not have a future. Logan Savory turns back the clock and takes a look at how we ended up in this position.
