Coming up with a Southland club rugby XV from the past 20 seasons of action.

As recently outlined, Southland Tribune’s Logan Savory has reached 20 seasons covering Southland club rugby as a reporter. What better way to mark it than to come up with a team made up of players from those 20 seasons?

Now there are some selection criteria for this.

Savory has only factored club form into the mix. Anything higher is irrelevant.

Also, the selection is weighted in favour of players that have delivered for their clubs over an extended period.
