Opinion: For three and a bit years now I’ve been writing about the Government’s Three Waters reform.

If I’m frank, it hasn’t been all that enjoyable. It’s not all that sexy, those in the media game chasing clicks might say.

It’s full of numbers that many people don’t agree on, and at times has become a political football.

It’s created a lot of angst.

But what almost everyone can agree on is that as painfully boring as core infrastructure can be, the reform is very important. Important enough everyone should have, and should continue to, take notice.
