Last week a new marketing campaign titled Get a Life | Get Southland was launched.

It sells Southland as the place to be if you want more to your life than just the daily grind; it's about truly living.

Southland has been presented as the perfect spot to balance work and play. It’s warranted.

But there’s one slight issue.

Southland’s housing shortage has long been identified as a problem when it comes to growth opportunities for the province.
