Southland Sharks cut import from roster
The Southland Sharks have cut one of its three American imports just two games into a 20-game 2024 Sal’s New Zealand Basketball League season. The Sharks organisation confirmed on Thursday it had released Josh Turner and was working on a replacement import. (READ MORE HERE).
Injury cloud hangs over top Southland sprinter
Invercargill thoroughbred trainer Sally McKay has no race in mind for Henry Hubber until he recovers from a fetlock injury. The injury prevented the gelding from racing at Riverton last Saturday and has cancelled plans to race him in Christchurch on April 13. (READ MORE HERE).
