Invercargill Treat: 182-game 3x3 Cup schedule revealed
Basketball New Zealand has revealed the full 182-game schedule for the 3×3 Cup in Invercargill later this month. The 3×3 Cup will run from Wednesday 25 to Saturday 28 October, with 28 teams (14 men’s and 10 women’s competing, while the men’s and women’s National teams for New Zealand and Australia play for the Trans-Tasman Cup) engaging in non-stop action over four days at ILT Stadium Southland. NZ and Australia teams named for 3x3 showdown in Invercargill
The stage is set for the first-ever 3x3 Trans-Tasman showdown later this month, with Basketball New Zealand and Basketball Australia announcing their respective national teams for this inaugural 3x3 international series. (READ MORE HERE).

ILT Southland Darts Masters - Saturday & Sunday - Ascot Park Hotel
Sixteen of New Zealand’s best darts players will converge on the Ascot Park Hotel in Invercargill on Saturday and Sunday as they chase a total prize pool of $15,000. The winner will pick up $5500.

Our Flash Harry: Invercargill horseman Sabin Kirkland was a winner on and off the track at Ascot Park on Sunday. His first starter Our Flash Harry won a maiden race in the hands of Cambridge apprentice Elen Nicohlas, while Kirkland's classy sprinter-miler, Buoyant, was named Southland Horse of the Year at the presentation of the Southland Racing Awards, for the 2022-23 season.
