Good news basketball fans... Invercargill to host NZ-Australia series
ILT Stadium Southland has locked in another sporting coup with New Zealand and Australia to square-off in a 3x3 basketball series in Invercargill in October. Basketball New Zealand (BBNZ) has announced that its 3x3 men’s and women’s national teams will play in Aotearoa - for the first time ever – from October 25 to 28, when they face Australia in a brand-new Trans-Tasman series. Southland Rams v Aoraki Eels - Saturday, 1pm - Elles Rd, Invercargill
The Southland Rams will open its 2023 South Island Championship Rugby League campaign in Invercargill on Saturday.
They will take on the Aoraki Eels at home in Invercargill.
To add to the occasion a curtain-raiser will be held where the Southland U14 girls team will take on the Aoraki U14 girls team at 11.30am.
Head along to catch the Rams in action on Saturday. Up the Wahs.
