Stags scour globe for No 10 on back of injury
Stags first five-eighth Dan Hollinshead has suffered a season-ending injury as the decision-makers now quickly scour the globe to try find a replacement. At the same time many fringe Stags players have an important assignment in Dunedin tonight [Wednesday] in their push for a 2024 NPC contract. (READ MORE HERE).
It’s coming down…
Signs of demolition at Invercargill’s museum pyramid building is becoming more obvious to the public with exterior cladding being removed.
The Southland Museum and Art Gallery in Gala Street was constructed in 1942, with the iconic pyramid roof added as part of renovation work in 1990. Due to earthquake risk, the museum was permanently closed on April 9, 2018.
Demolition started in April this year with the base build of the new Te Unua Museum of Southland set to be completed by December 2025.

These days, Winton horseman Allan Beck assists his wife Leda with her team of gallopers in their family-run racing stable. The Becks' daughter, Sarah, 18, shares track work riding with Leda and Allan helps with other work required. (READ MORE HERE).

Rotary Book Sale - Thursday to Saturday - Scottish Hall, Invercargill
 The Rotary Club of Invercargill 2024 Book Sale is set to host the club's 43rd book sale in its 100 years.
After many years at the Civic Theatre, this year the sale returns to the Scottish Hall.
The major recipient for this year's funds is The Grace Street Project.Â
