Why Southland is a gem…. Reason #29
(We think it’s worth reminding ourselves why Southland is such a special place, so that’s what we’ll do regularly)
The Otepuni Stream Walkway. It’s potentially one of Invercargill’s most underutilised gems. Many believe Invercargill has turned its back [or the buildings at least] on what is actually a beautiful part of the city.
The Otepuni Stream Walkway begins at Clyde Street/Otepuni Stream Bridge and continues eastwards through the Otepuni Gardens to Rockdale Road. The Otepuni Gardens cover 9.4 hectares in the inner city and are primarily used by walkers.
If you too have turned your back on the Otepuni Stream Walkway how about making a visit? It’s a great lunch spot.
