Rodney Sutton was on his way to deliver the final edits of a book he had been working on for many years when he suffered a heart attack and was involved in a subsequent car accident. He never got to see the published book but his legacy lives on. (READ MORE HERE).

The Revlon Girl: Cast returns to put on 'emotional play'
Set eight months after the Aberfan disaster, which took 144 lives in a small Welsh mining village on October 21, 1966, The Revlon Girl follows a group of women grappling with loss. An all-Invercargill cast has returned to put on three performances of the play starting in Gore on Wednesday night. (READ MORE HERE).

The Zonta Club of Invercargill is proud to again take part in 16 Days of Activism from 25 November to 10 December, alongside Zonta clubs worldwide. Special mare wins Winton Cup as jockey club celebrates 150th
Morrie Paskell usually stays out of the limelight and away from photographers after his horses win on race day, but he made an exception at the weekend.
