The H&J Smith Group has previously announced its intention to close its department store operations in Invercargill, Gore, and Queenstown. On Tuesday it was confirmed Longbeach Holdings will take over the Gore branch. (READ MORE HERE).

SPW Southern Rumble 2023 - Saturday, July 29 6pm - Invercargill Workingmen’s Club
The biggest event in New Zealand Wrestling is back with a huge line up scheduled, including the 20-man Southern Rumble to crown the next challenger for the SPW New Zealand Championship.
Wrestlers from all across New Zealand and Australia will enter the Rumble.
“We are a hybrid of live theatre and breath-taking stunts with entertaining characters and storylines.’ A night for the whole family to enjoy.”
There will be two huge Championship Matches on the night, including the SPW New Zealand Tag Team Championships and the biggest prize there is, the SPW New Zealand Championship.
