The Invercargill City Council is set to discuss the strategic value of certain council-owned properties with the prospect of potentially putting some up for sale. Council staff have prepared a report which will be discussed on Tuesday. It outlines six council-owned properties which could potentially be repurposed or “disposed of”. (READ MORE HERE).

The Southland Stags’ sights have quickly switched to 2024 which will include sorting who will coach the team next season, in today’s Spotlight on Sport we outline the situation. The one-of-a-kind SBS Bank Southland Stags player-worn and signed charity jerseys are now live for bids on Trade Me.
The Stags wore the on-off jerseys against Bay of Plenty recently and are now up for auction. Bidding closes at 7pm on Saturday, October 14.

All 23 Jerseys are signed on the front with a clean back so you have options to frame it with Signatures forward, or if you are a back of jersey sponsor, it can be framed fresh with your logo on show along with jersey number.
Winning Bids will include a match day programme and PNG action shot of the jersey on the player during the game.
All profits will be donated to The Hawthorndale Care Village which is in the final fundraising stages of their specialist Dementia Care Village.
