Te Kapa Haka o Ngā Hau e Whā ki Murihiku, the first adult competitive kapa haka group to represent Murihiku for a number of years, will head to Christchurch later this month for the Kapa Haka Regional Competitions. (READ MORE HERE).

‘Southern Mother’ now open at He Waka Tuia
Three printmakers explore their Murihiku roots in the Southern Mother exhibition now open at He Waka Tuia on Kelvin Street in Invercargill. Emma Riha Kitson is a descendant of Kai Tahu ki Murihiku. The Pantry Autumn Festival - Saturday, April 13 10am to 1pm - 133 Grace St, Invercargill
An Autumn event for the family. Come along and join in the autumn celebration with Food , Fun and Music. Competitions include the Best scarecrow, biggest pumpkin, weirdest vegetables and more. Music entertainment provided by The Fiddlers. The event includes a small market with select craft vendors and the famous Pantry BBQ will be cooking up a storm. The Pantry will be open serving warm drinks and food.
