Why Southland is a gem…. Reason #52
(We think it’s worth reminding ourselves why Southland is such a special place, so that’s what we’ll do regularly)
Space to roam. All up, there are about 100,000 people who reside in Southland, give or take a few thousand. It’s about 2 percent of New Zealand’s population.
Yet the 3.1 million hectares that make up Southland equates to about 12% of New Zealand's total land area.
There’s plenty of lush land and coast, making Southland the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of big city life.
In case you missed it….
