How did Gore end up in a prime-time current affairs spot?
Ask Stephen Parry’s supporters or Ben Bell’s detractors, and many will describe the Sunday programme as skewed in favour of Bell. NZ Music Month…. A Southlander’s song choice
It is New Zealand Music Month and we at The Southland Tribune are celebrating it. We’ve teamed with the crew at MASSAV Productions and throughout the month are asking various Southlanders to provide their favourite New Zealand song choice.
Today’s song selector: JAMIE CROSS. Cross Group managing director.
Artist: Villainy. Villainy is an alternative rock band from Auckland which was formed in 2010. Villainy is three-time winners of the NZ Music Award for Best Rock Album/Artist
Jamie’s song choice: Gather Yourselves
Why? I'm loving Villainy at the moment and revisiting some of their first songs from their debut album especially Gather Yourselves. I like to think of it as a great anthem for team work and a good metaphor for the battling wee guy. We're all looking forward to cranking up the sounds in the office for NZ Music Month.
