A former Invercargill City Council staffer is “pissed off” a city rebrand she was part of six years ago has largely been shelved. In 2017 a new “Dream Big” rebrand was launched for Invercargill at a cost of $150,000. (READ MORE HERE). (Paid subscriber content).

Our man Corbin Strong continues to impress in his debut Tour de France.
The Southland cyclist has picked up an 11th-place finish on Stage 4 of cycling’s big event overnight.
It goes with his 15th in Stage 1, 50th in Stage 2, and 16th in Stage 3. The 23-year-old sits 38th overall in the Tour and is 5min 43sec behind the race leader.
Te Whatu Ora 'to act quickly' on Southland mental health unit concerns
Te Whatu Ora won’t be releasing findings of an internal review into the Southland Hospital’s mental health unit, despite Invercargill MP Penny Simmonds’ call to do so. (READ MORE HERE).
