SBHS first XV to be celebrated at Stags game…
The tributes for the Southland Boys’ High School first XV’s historic national title continue.
The national champions have been invited to make a lap of honour around Rugby Park on Saturday at halftime of the Southland-Hawke’s Bay NPC game.
SBHS won the New Zealand Top 4 competition for the first time this year when they toppled Westlake Boys’ High School in the final in Palmerston North.
They were honoured with a hero’s welcome at the Invercargill Airport on their arrival home and last week were celebrated at a mayoral reception.
Now the rugby community will get to acknowledge the team’s achievement at Rugby Park on Saturday.
